Boed i'r holl nefoedd lawenhâu,
Brenin Gogoniant sy'n nesâu;
  Brenin Gogoniant, pwy yw Ef?
  Ein Prynwr anwyl, Arglwydd nêf.

Agorwch, lledwch byrth y nêf,
Gwnewch ffordd yn barod iddo Ef;
  Yr hwn trwy rym
      ei werthfawr waed
  Roes angau ac uffern tan ei draed.

Mewn llawn-orfoledd myn'd wnaeth Ef
O'n blaen i agor drws y nêf,
  I barottôi i dydnol ryw
  Drigfannau dedwydd gyd-â Duw.

Let the whole heavens rejoice,
The King of Glory is approaching;
  The King of Glory, who is He?
  Our beloved Redeemer, the Lord of heaven.

Open ye, widen ye gates of heaven,
Make a road ready for Him;
  Him who through the force
      of his precious blood
  Put death and hell under his feet.

In full jubilation go did He
Before to open the door of heaven,
  To prepare for human kind
  Happy residences with God.
