Canu sy'n y nefoedd,
  Gan angelion glān,
Seintiau a seraphiaid
  Unant yn y gān;
Y cerubiaid dysglaer
  Ganant oll yn nghyd -
Moliant yn ddiddiwedd
  Brynwr mawr y byd.

P'am y byddwn ddystaw?
  Canwn tra fo'm byw, -
Moliant gan blant bychain
  Hoffa'r Iesu gwiw;
Os cawn ni ein huno
  A cherddorion nef,
Cawn byth heb dewi
  'R anthem "Iddo Ef."

There is singing in the heavens,
  By holy angels,
Saints and Seraphim
  Unite in the song;
The shining cherubim
  All sing together -
They praise unendlingly
  The great Redeemer of the world.

Why should we be silent?
  Let us sing while ever we live, -
Praise by the dearest little
  Children of worthy Jesus;
If we get to wake
  With the musicians of heaven,
We will get forever without being silent
  The anthem "Unto Him."

Jesus! holy angels
  Ever sing to Him,
And then join the anthem,
  Saints and seraphim;
Cherubim of glory,
  Sing with one accord;
And they praise forever
  Jesus Christ the Lord.

Why should we be silent?
  Let us all unite;
Little children singing
  Is the Lord's delight!
If we shall through mercy
  Join the choir above,
We shall sing unceasing
  Jesus and His love.
