Cymer ein calonnau

(Gweddi'r Plant)
Cymer ein calonnau,
  O! Waredwr glân;
Llanw ein bywydau
  Oll â'th ddwyfol dân;
Gwynned ar ein llwybrau
  Dy dyneraf wawl;
Heded o'n geneuau
  Dy raslonaf fawl.

    Hoffem ninnau ganu
      Am dy ras trwy'n hoes,
    Hoffem hefyd ddysgu
      Cerdded bryn y Groes;
    Cadw ni'n dy gwmni,
      O! Waredwr byw,
    Nes dod i'r goleuni,
      Fry i ddinas Duw.

Dysg i ni dy lwybrau,
  O! Iachawdwr mwyn,
Carem dreulio'n dyddiau
  Yn dy nefol swyn;
Clwysom gan ein tadau
  Am dy gariad Di -
Clysom gan ein mamau
  Am dy Galfari.

  Gweddi'r Plant (John Mainwaring)

(The Children's Prayer)
Take our hearts,
  O holy Deliverer;
Flood all our lives
  With thy divine fire;
May thy tenderest radiance
  Shine upon our paths;
May thy most gracious praise
  Fly from our mouths.

    We ourselves would love to sing
      About thy grace throughout our life,
    We would also love to learn
      To walk the hill of the Cross;
    Keep us in thy company,
      O living Deliverer,
    Until we come to the light,
      Up in the kingdom of God.

Teach to us thy paths,
  O dear Saviour,
We would love to spend our days
  In thy heavenly charm;
We heard from our fathers
  About thy love -
We head from our mothers
  About thy Calvary.
