Gyfrannwr pob bendithion
  Ac awdur deall dyn,
Gwna ni yn wir ddisgyblion
  I'th annwyl Fab dy hun;
Drwy bob gwybodaeth newydd
  Gwna ni'n fwy doeth i fyw,
A gwisg ni oll ag awydd
  Gwas'naethu dynol-ryw

Rho inni ysbryd gweddi
  Rho inni wefus bur,
Rho gymorth mewn caledi
  I lynu wrth y gwir;
Yng nghynnydd pob gwybodaeth
  Glanha, cryfha ein ffydd;
Ymhob rhyw brofedigaeth
  Dysg inni rodio'n rhydd.

O Iesu, a fu farw
  Yn ieuanc ar y groes
Dod arnom ni dy enw
  Yn awr ym more oes;
Dy air fo yn ein calon
  Dy Ysbryd yn ein gwaith
A choron pob gobeithion
  Dy gwrdd ar ben y daith.

Supplier of all blessings
  And author of man's understanding,
Make us true disciples
  For thine own beloved Son;
Through every new knowledge
  Make us more wise to live,
And clothe us all with eagerness
  To serve human-kind.

Give to us a spirit of prayer
  Give to us a pure lip,
Give help in hardship
  To stick to the true;
In the increase of every knowledge
  Cleanse, strengthen our faith;
In every kind of trial
  Teach us to walk freely.

O Jesus, who died
  Young on the cross,
Put upon us thy name
  Now in the morning of age;
Thy word be in our heart,
  Thy Spirit in our work,
And the crown of all hopes -
  Meeting thee at our journey's end.
