Ceir pethau gwerthfawr gan Dduw Ion,
  O fod yn ffyddlon iddo;
Gwir bethau nefol, hwy a'u cânt,
  Pob un a gredant ynddo.

Nid pethau gwaelion hyn o fyd,
  Ei olud na'i anrhydedd;
Ond cyfoeth tragwyddoldeb hir
  Yn myd y gwir dangnefedd.

Valuable things are had from God the Lord,
  By being faithful to him;
True, heavenly things, they may have,
  Every one who believes in him.

Not the base things of this world,
  Its wealth nor its honour;
But the wealth of long eternity
  In a world of the true peace.
