Craig fy nghadernid yw Duw Ion

(Salm XVIII)
Craig fy nghadernid yw Duw Ion
  Mewn ing gofidion angau;
I'm hachub daw, rhag braw mewn brys,
  O'm dyrus orthrymderau.

Tywyllwch dan ei draed a drodd,
  Marchogodd ar y Cerub:
Cadd fy ngelynion deimlo'r saeth,
  Y dydd y daeth i'm hachub.

Pan oedd fy ngelyn am fy mrad
  Ti roist gynnaliad helaeth,
Gan anfon gwaredigaeth lān
  Trwy darian iachawdwriaeth.

(Psalm 18)
The Rock of my security is God the Lord
  In the anguish of the griefs of death;
To save me he will come,
    from terror, hurriedly,
  From my troublesome oppressions.

Darkness turned under his feet,
  He rode on the Cherub:
My enemies got to feel the shot,
  The day he came to save me.

When my enemy wanted my betrayal
  Thou gavest generous help,
Sending holy deliverance
  Through the shield of salvation.
