Cydunwn, bawb, i foli Duw, - Ei ŵyneb heddiw ceisiwn; Cydwleddwn gyda'i annwyl blant, A'i foliant byth dadganwn. Hwn ydyw'r dydd a wnaeth ein Duw, Trown ninnau heddiw'n camre, Awn ger ei fron a llawen fryd, Gan barchu'r hyfryd fore. Santeiddiodd Duw y seithfed dydd, I ni gael budd ysbrydol: Gwybodaeth gawn o'i gyfraith lān, A gwir ddyddanwch nefol. Y sawl a ddelo, dedwydd yw, I deml Duw'n gyfanedd; Mae un dydd yma'n llawer gwell Na mil yn mhabell gwagedd. Gorchfygodd Crist bob gelyn cryf, Yn awr fe dŷf ei Deyrnas; Cawn byth gyfiawnder pur a hedd, A mawr orfoledd addas. Cawn yno bob dymunol ddawn, Cawn Dduw yn llawn trugaredd; A'i Ysbryd i'n cryfhau bob pryd, Yn fwyfwy hyd y diwedd. Awn felly ymlaen o nerth i nerth, Yn brydferth nes cael dyfod, I foli Duw, a llawen floedd, Yn entrych nefoedd uchod. Trown ninnau heddiw'n camre :: A gwerthfawr ydyw'r oriau Awn :: Down berchi :: barchi Gwybodaeth gawn :: Gwybodaeth cawn

Let us all unite to praise God, - His face today let us seek; Let us feast together with his dear children, And his praise forever let us express. This is the day our God has made, Let us turn today our steps, Let us go before him with a cheerful heart, While respecting the delightful morn. God sanctified the seventh day, For us to get spiritual benefit: Knowledge we may get of his holy law, And true, heavenly comfort. Those who come, happy are, To the temple of God as a habitation; One day her is much better Than a thousand in the tent of vanity. Christ overcame every strong enemy, Now his Kingdom will grow; We may ever get pure righteousness and peace, And worthy, great, rejoicing. We may get every desirable gift, We may get God in full mercy; And his Spirit to strengthen us every time, More and more until the end. Let us go forward then from strength to strength, Beautifully until we get to come To praise God, with a joyful shout, In the fault of heaven above. Let us turn today our steps :: And precious are the hours Let us go :: Let us come :: :: tr. 2014,17 Richard B Gillion |
