Da yw bod wrth draed yr Iesu

Da yw bod wrth draed yr Iesu,
  Ym more oes;
Ni chawn neb fel Ef i’n dysgu,
  Hyd ddiwedd oes:
Dan Ei groes mae ennill brwydrau,
A gorchfygu temtasiynau -
Achos Crist yw’r achos gorau,
  Ar hyd ein hoes.

Cawn Ei air i buro’r galon,
  Ym more oes;
A chysegru pob gobeithion,
  Ym more oes;
Wedi dod ym mlodau’n dyddiau,
Ni bydd eisiau gado’i lwybrau—
Cawn fynediad i’w drigfannau,
  Ar ddiwedd oes.

It is good to be at the feet of Jesus
  In the morning of one's age;
We can get no-one like him to teach us,
  Until the end of our age;
Under his cross there is winning of battles,
And overcoming of temptations -
The cause of Christ is the best cause,
  Throughout our age.

We wan get his word to purify the heart,
  In the morning of our age,
And to consecrate all hopss,
  In the morning of our age,
Having come into the flowers of our days,
There will be no need to keep his paths -
We can get an entry into his dwellings,
  At the end of our age.
