Dacw un mewn natur ddynol,
Heb un math o bechod gwreiddiol,
  Eto'n farwol ar y pren;
Deddf y nef a anrhydedodd,
A'i gofynion a gyflawnodd,
Pan ogwyddodd Ef Ei ben.
  Dewch Iuddewon, a Chenedloedd,
Er pob gofid a therfysgoedd,
Dacw'r llwybr o'r dyfnderoedd',
A bwrcasodd cyn yr oesoedd
  Yn Ei waed i'r nefoedd wen.

Cyfod enaid, a dihuna,
Gwel y gwaith wnaed ar Golgotha,
  Yn ei laddfa dan y loes;
Ni, dylodion, oeddym gaethion,
Dan ddigofaint y ddeddf gyfion,
  Yno'n rhyddion hwn a'n rhoes;
Deuwch! deuwch gaethion Eden
At ein llywydd, eto'n llawen,
Draw i'r ddinas, drwy'r Iorddonen,
Ni gawn ddiengyd yn ddiangen,
  I'r ddi-len dragwyddol oes.

Yonder is one in human nature,
Without any kind of original sin,
  Yet mortal on the tree;
The law of heaven he honoured,
And its requirements he fulfilled,
When He bowed His head.
  Come ye Jews, and Gentiles,
Despite every grief and tumults,
Yonder is the path from the deptchs,
Which he purchased before the ages
  In His blood to the bright heavens.

Arise, soul, and awake,
See the work done on Golgotha,
  In his slaughter under the throes;
We, debtors, were captives,
Under the wrath of the righteous law,
  There free he has set us;
Come, come, ye captives of Eden
To our governor, still cheerfully,
Over to the city, through the Jordan,
We shall get to escape whole,
  To the unveiled eternal age.
