Dan bob amglylchiad yn y byd

Through all the changing scenes of life

(Trallod)
Dan bob amglylchiad yn y byd,
  Mewn gwynfyd ac mewn gwae,
Mwynhad o nefol wedd fy Nuw
  A wna im lawenhau.

O! cyd-ddyrchefwch gyda mi
  Ei enw sanctiadd Ef,
Am drugareddau yn ddi-rif
  Sy'n dyfod in o'r nef.

Am waredigaeth dan bob croes,
  Cynhaliaeth ac iachâd,
Ei Enw mawr sydd deilwng fyth
  O foliant a mawrhad.

Gogoniant fyth a fo i'r Tad,
  I'r Mab, a'r Ysbryd Glân;
Fel gynt yr oedd, y mae, a bydd
  Yn hanfod di-wahân.

Tôn [MC 8686]: Wiltshire
    (George T Smart 1776-1867)

(Affliction)
Under every circumstance in the world,
  In blessedness and in woe,
The enjoyment of my God's heavenly feast
  Shall make me rejoice.

O extol ye, together with me,
  His sacred name!
For mercies unnumbered
  Which come to us from heaven.

About deliverance under every cross,
  Support and health,
His great name is worthy forever
  Of praise and majesty.

Glory forever be to the Father,
  To the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
As once it was, it is and it shall be
  In essence inseparable.
tr. 2020 Richard B Gillion
(PSAL. XXXIV)
Through all the changing scenes of life,
  In trouble and in joy,
The praises of my God shall still
  My heart and tongue employ.

O magnify the Lord with me,
  With me exalt His name;
When in distress to Him I called,
  He to my rescue came.

Of His deliverance I will boast,
  Till all that are distressed
From my example courage take
  And soothe their griefs to rest.

To Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
  The God whom we adore,
Be glory, as it was, is now
   And shall be evermore.
