Dewch ynghyd a molwn Dduw

Let us with a gladsome mind

Dewch ynghyd a molwn Dduw,
Dewch yn llon can's da iawn yw;
  Byth yn ffyddlon a didrai
  Mae'i drugaredd yn parhau.

O'i ddoethineb creodd ef
Lu aneirif sêr y nef,
  Ac a roes â'i law ei hun
  Ei oleuni i bob un.

Ei drugaredd, rhyfedd yw,
Mae'n diwallu popeth byw;
  Gwêl ein trallod,
      gwrendy'n cri,
  A thosturia wrthym ni.

Rhown am hyn
    i'r nefol Fod
Ein dyledus fawl a chlod;
  Byth yn ffyddlon heb leihau,
  Mae'i drugaredd yn parhau.

Tôn [7777]: Monkland
    (Collection of Hymn Tunes c.1800)

Come ye together and let us praise God,
Come ye cheerfully since he is good;
  Forever faithful and unebbing
  His mercy is enduring.

From his wisdom he created
The innumerable host of heaven's stars,
  And gave with his own hand
  His light to every one.

His mercy, wonderful it is,
He satisfies everything living;
  He sees our trouble,
      he listens to our cry,
  And he has mercy on us.

Let us give, therefore,
    to the heavenly Being
Our dutiful praise and acclaim;
  Forever faithful without diminishing,
  His mercy is enduring.
tr. 2023 Richard B Gillion
Let us, with a gladsome mind,
Praise the Lord, for He is kind.
  For His mercies aye endure,
  Ever faithful, ever sure.

He with all commanding might
Filled the new made world with light.
  For His mercies aye endure,
  Ever faithful, ever sure.

All things living He doth feed,
His full hand supplies their need.
  He hath, with
      a piteous eye,
  Looked upon our misery.

Let us, with
    a gladsome mind,
Praise the Lord, for He is kind.
  For His mercies aye endure,
  Ever faithful, ever sure.
John Milton 1608-74 (alt.)
