Dan fendith Ysbryd gras

(Dirwest)
Dan fendith Ysbryd gras
Gorchfygwn bechod cas,
  Er gryfed yw;
Fe ddaw y dedwydd ddydd
I'r meddwon ddod yn rhydd,
A moliant uchel fydd
  I'r Ceidwad gwiw.

O rwydau meddwdod ffôl
Tŷn ddynion i Dy gôl,
  O nefol Dad!
Rho lwyddiant yn ein tir
Ar achos Dirwest bur,
A'th nefol fore clir
  Oleuo'n gwlad.
John Lewis 1853-1948

Tôn [664.6664]: Olivet (Lowell Mason 1792-1872)

(Abstinence)
Under the blessing of the Spirit of grace
Let us overcome detestable sin,
  Despite how strong it is;
The happy day shall come
For the drunkards to come free,
And high praise shall be
  To the worthy Saviour.

From the bonds of foolish drunkenness
Draw men to Thy bosom,
  O heavenly Father!
Give success in our land
To the pure cause of Abstinence,
And may thy clear heavenly morning
  Enlighten our land.
