Dangos im, Arglwydd, dy ffordd di, A phâr i mi ei deall: Arwain a dysg fi yr un wedd, Yn dy wirionedd diball. Yr Arglwydd sydd uniawn a da, A'i ffyrdd im noddfa ydynt; Efe a arwain, fel mae'n rhaid, Y pechaduriaid ynddynt. I'r sawl a gadwo ddeddfau'r Iôn, A'i union dystiolaethau, Gwirionedd a thrugaredd fydd Ei lywydd yn ei lwybrau. Er mwyn dy enw, Arglwydd mau, Duw maddau fy anwiredd: Can's fy nhroseddiad i mawr yw; Mwy ydyw dy drugaredd. Arwain a dysg :: Dysg, ac arwain |
show me, Lord, thy way, And make me understand it: Lead and teach me the same standard, In thy unfailing truth. The Lord is upright and good, And his ways are a refuge to me; He will lead, as need The sinners in them. To any who keeps the Lord's laws, And his upright testimonies, Truth and mercy will be His leader in his paths. For thy name's sake, my Lord, God forgive my falsehood: Since my transgressions are great; Great is thy mercy. Lead and teach :: Teach and lead tr. 2012 Richard B Gillion |
4 To me thy truth impart, and lead me in thy way; 5 For thou art he that brings me help, on thee I wait all day. 8 His mercy and his truth the righteous Lord displays, In bringing wand'ring sinners home, and teaching them his ways. 10 Through all the ways of God both truth and mercy shine, To such as with religious hearts to his blest will incline. 11 Since mercy is the grace that most exalts thy fame, Forgive my heinous sin, O Lord, and so advance thy Name.
