Dduw tragwyddol, holl-gyfoethog,
  Mae dy gariad yn parhau,
Ti faddeui i rai euog
  Sy'n galaru am eu bai;
Crea ynom galon newydd
  A drylliedig, drwy dy ras,
Fel y teimlom ing a chystudd
  Am ein holl bechodau cas.

Genyt Ti y mae trugaredd
  A maddeuant llawn i'w cael,
Byth ni phalla dy ddigonedd,
  Nertha a diwalla'r gwael:
Tra'n cyfadef ein trueni,
  Gwrando ni, O Dad, yn awr,
Estyn lwyr ollyngdod ini
  Er mwyn haeddiant Iesu mawr.

Eternal God, all-wealthy,
  Thy love is enduring,
Thou forgivest the guilty ones
  Who are mourning for their fault;
Crete in us a new and broken
  Heart, through thy grace,
That we thus feel anguish and affliction
  For all our detestable sins.

With Thee there is mercy
  And full forgiveness to be had,
Never shall thy sufficiency fade,
  Strengthen and provision the poor:
While confessing our wretchedness,
  Listen to us, O Father, now,
Extend complete absolution to us
  For the sake of great Jesus.
