Deffrowch drigolion daiar gron

Deffrowch, drigolion daiar gron,
  I byncio cān ddiludd;
Cyduned dyn ā theulu'r nef
  Roesawi'r dedwydd ddydd.

Dechreuwyd y llesmeiriol fawl
  Gan dorf ddysgleirwych nen;
A thān seraphaidd roes mewn hwyl
  Delynau fyrdd uwch ben.

Yn gyflwm trwy'r eangder mawr
  Daseiniai'r lafar lef;
Y gān a'r testyn newydd oedd,
  A mwy na llon'd y nef.

I lawr trwy byrth wybrenau'r Ior
  Y ffrwd lifeiriol ddaeth,
Gan foli Ceidwad newydd dd'od
  I ddechreu ar ei waith.

Clywch fawl
    y dorf gerubaidd fry!
  Gogoniant leinw'r gān;
Ewyllys da a hedd i ddyn
  Cydgana'r dyrfa lān.
Casgliad o Hymnau (... ein Heglwys) Daniel Jones 1863

[Mesur: MC 8686]

Awake, ye inhabitants of the round earth,
  To sing an untiring song;
Let man unite with the family of heaven
  To welcome the happy day.

The ecstatic praise was begun
  By a brilliantly shining throng of the sky;
And a seraphic fire put in tune
  A myriad harps overhead.

Quickly through the great expanse
  would resound the vocal cry;
The song and the new theme is was,
  With more than the capacity of heaven.

Down through the portals of the Lord's sky
  The torrential stream came,
Praising the new Saviour coming
  To start on his work.

Hear ye the praise
    of the cherubic throng above!
  Glory fills the song;
Good will and peace to man
  Chorus the holy throng.
