Derbyniwyd ni trwy'r olchfa ddwfr

(Yr Olchfa Ddwfr)
Derbyniwyd ni,
    trwy'r "olchfa ddwfr,"
  I deulu Duw, a'i dŷ:
A dwyn yr ydym Enw Crist -
  Braint nefol yw i ni.

Drugarog Dad, dy braidd ŷm ni,
  Dysg ini ufuddhâu,
A chadw'th air, yr hwn a wna
  I'n calon lawenhâu.

Bendithia'n Bedydd er lleshâd
  I'th ffyddlon blant i gyd;
A hardded ffrwythau
    Ysbryd gras
  Ein buchedd yn y byd.
Llawlyfr Moliant 1890

Tôn [MC 8686]: French (The CL Psalmes of David 1615)

(The Washing of Water)
We are accepted,
    through the "washing of water,"
  To the family of God, and his house:
And bearing we are the Name of Christ -
  A heavenly privilege is it for us.

Merciful Father, thy flock we are,
  Teach us to obey,
And keep thy word, that which makes
  Our hearts rejoice.

Bless our Baptism for benefit
  To all thy faithful children;
And let the fruits
    of the Spirit of grace adorn
  Our conduct in the world.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
