Dewch hen ac ieuanc dewch (Dan faner Iesu cu)

1,2,(3).
(Dilyn Crist yn y Bedydd)
  Dewch hen ac ieuanc dewch
    Dan faner Iesu cu,
  Ufudd-dod parod rhowch
    I eiriau
        deddfau'i dŷ;
Mae'n werth i ddilyn Iesu glân,
Y canol ŵr, trwy ddw'r a thân.

  Daeth Crist twry fedydd gwaed,
    O gariad atom ni;
  Mewn môr o ingoedd caed
    E'n soddi yn y lli!
Ai gormod peth
    i lwch y llawr,
Wneyd darlun o'i ddyoddefaint mawr!

  Ar gais y nef mi af
    Ar ol yr Iesu mawr,
  Cydwybod dawel gaf,
    A sylw Duw i lawr,
A phlygu wnaf i'r sanctaidd arch,
Yn medydd Crist,
    o dduwiol barch.

(Following Christ in the Baptism)
  Come old and young, come ye
    Under the flag of dear Jesus,
  Ready obedience give ye
    To the the words of
        the laws of his house;
It is worth following holy Jesus,
The middle man, through water and fire.

  Christ came through a baptism of blood,
    From love towards us;
  In a sea of agonies he got
    Submerged in the flood!
Is it too much a thing
    for the dust of the ground,
To make a picture of his great suffering!

  In search of heaven I will go
    After the great Jesus,
  A quiet conscience I shall get,
    And God looking down,
And I shall bow to the sacred ark,
In the baptism of Christ,
    from godly reverence.
tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion
