Dros flwyddyn eto'n awr

1,2,3,4,5;  1,2,3,6.
Dros flwyddyn eto'n awr,
  Trwy nodded Un yn Dri,
Diangol ŷm, a chododd gwawr
  Un newydd arnom ni.

Er hir ddiffrwytho tir
  Y Pen Gwinllanydd mawr,
A bloedd cyfiawnder uwch ein pen
  I dori'r pren i lawr;

Hyd yma lwyddo wnaeth
  Ei ddwys eiriolaeth Ef,
Uwch gwaedd pechadau o bob rhyw,
  Er uched yw eu llef.

'R ŷm eto yn mwynhau
  Ei rad driniaethau'n hael;
Trwy rin y rhain, O! dyger ni
  I ffrwytho yn ddi-ffael.

A phan ddaw'r olaf awr
  I'n torri lawr o'n lle,
O! byddem fel gwinwydden lawn
  Yn aeddfed iawn i'r ne'.

Gogoniant fo i'r Tad,
  I'r Mab, a'r Ysbryd Glân;
Fel gynt y bu, y mae, a bod
  Yn hanfod diwahân.
Casgliad o Hymnau (... ein Heglwys) Daniel Jones 1863

Tonau [MB 6686]:
    Bod Alwyn (David Jenkins 1848-1915)
    St George (H J Gauntlett 1805-76)

Over a year again now,
  Through the protection of One in Three,
Safe we are, and light has risen
  A new one upon us.

Although a long-unfruitful land
  The great Chief Vine-dresser,
With a shout of righteousness above our head
  To cut the tree down;

Until now prosper did
  His earnest intercession,
Louder than the shout of sins of every kind,
  Despite how loud their cry.

We are still enjoying
  His free treatments generously;
Through the virtue of these, O lead us
  To bear fruit unfailingly!

And when the last hour comes
  To break us down from our place,
O may we be like a full vine
  Very ripe for heaven.

Glory be to the Father,
  To the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
As it was before, is, and shall be
  The undivided essence.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
