Duw Abra'm molwch ef (Goruchaf Frenin gwiw)

("Myfi yw Duw Abraham")
Duw Abra'm! molwch Ef -
    Goruchaf Frenin gwiw,
A Hen Ddihenydd mawr y nef -
    Duw, cariad yw!
  Anfeidrol, nefol Naf,
      Medd lluoedd nef a llawr;
  Ymgrymu, a bendithio wnaf
      Ei Enw mawr.

Duw Abra'm! molwch Ef;
    Ei archiad mawr yn glau,
Gyfoda'm henaid tua'r nef,
    Dan lawenhau:
  Dibrisiaf barch a bri,
      A holl deganau'r byd;
  Duw fydd fy rhan a'm tarian i,
      A'm castell clyd.

Fe dyngodd iddo'i hun!
    Ar lŵ fy Nuw mae'm sail,
Y codir f'enaid ar ei lun,
    Trwy Adda'r ail!
  Caf wel'd ei hawddgar wedd -
      Ei allu a fawrhaf;
  A chanu am ei ras, mewn hedd,
      Dros fyth a wnaf.

("I am the God of Abraham")
The God of Abraham, praise him!
    The supreme worthy King,
And great Old Ancient One of heaven -
    God, he is love!
  Immeasurable, heavenly Chief,
      Say the hosts of heaven and earth;
  Bow and bless, will I do,
      His great Name.

The God of Abraham! praise Him!
    His great command quickly,
Raises my soul towards heaven,
    While it rejoices:
  I will despise reverence and honour,
      And all the playthings of the world;
  God will be my portion and my shield,
      And my secure castle.

He swore by himself!
    On my God's oath is my foundation,
My soul will be built on his image,
    Through the second Adam!
  I will get to see his beautiful face -
      His power I will magnify;
  And sing of his grace, in peace,
      Forever I will do.
tr. 2010 Richard B Gillion

The God of Abraham praise,
    Who reigns enthroned above;
Ancient of everlasting days,
    And God of Love;
  Jehovah, great I AM!
      By earth and Heav’n confessed;
  I bow and bless the sacred Name
      Forever blessed.

The God of Abraham praise,
    At whose supreme command
From earth I rise - and seek the joys
    At His right hand;
  I all on earth forsake,
      Its wisdom, fame, and power;
  And Him my only Portion make,
      My Shield and Tower.

He by Himself has sworn;
    I on His oath depend,
I shall, on eagle wings upborne,
    To Heav'n ascend.
  I shall behold His face;
      I shall His power adore,
  And sing the wonders of His grace
      Forevermore.
