Duw Dad, Creawdwr nef a llawr,
  Datganwn 'nawr dy glod;
Yn unig ddoeth, Jehofa mawr,
  Anfeidrol, fythol Fôd.

Gorseddi mewn goleuni pur,
  Rhy glir i'r engyl glân:
Y penaf wyt, a ffynnon fawr
  Y Drindod diwahan.

Nis gall angylion nefoedd fawr
  Dy ddirnad byth yn llawn;
Er hyn fe'th welir ar y llawr,
  Yn ngwawr dy nefol ddawn.

Dy Hanfod di, oruchaf Ior,
  Rhyw fôr anfeidrol yw;
Cyduned lluoedd nef a llawr
  I foli d'enw gwiw.

Father God, Creator of heaven and earth,
  We declare now thy praise;
The only wise, great Jehovah,
  Immeasurable, eternal Being.

Thou sittest in pure light,
  Too bright for the holy angels:
The chief thou art, and the great fount
  Of the inseparable Trinity.

The angels of great heaven cannot
  Comprehend thee ever fully;
Nevertheless thou art seen on the earth,
  In the dawn of thy heavenly gift.

Thy essence, supreme Lord,
  Is some immeasurable sea;
Let the hosts of heaven and earth join
  To praise thy worthy name.

Hail, Father, whose creating call
  Unnumbered worlds attend;
Jehovah, comprehending all,
  Whom none can comprehend!

In light unsearchable enthroned,
  Whom angels dimly see,
The fountain of the Godhead owned,
  And foremost of the Three.

Nor quite displayed to worlds above,
  Nor quite on earth concealed;
By wondrous, unexhausted love,
  To mortal man revealed.

Thy name, Jehovah, be adored
  By creatures without end,
Whom none but thy essential Word
  And Spirit comprehend.
