Dy garu wnaf, O Arglwydd Dduw,
Can's ti fy holl gadernid yw;
  Fy nghadarn Graig i'm dal i'r lan,
  Ac Amddiffynfa f'enaid gwan.

Fy Nuw, fy Nerth, a'm Ceidwad cu,
F'ymddiried ynddo'n unig sy;
  Fy Nharian dda, a'm Tŵr yw ef,
  A Chorn fy iechydwriaeth gref.

Fy ngweddi dos at Dduw dilŷth,
Sy'n haeddu pob canmoliaeth byth;
  Fel hyn, rhag pob rhyw elyn cas,
  Fe gedwir f'enaid gan ei ras.

  Rhan II - Perffaith yn ei ffordd yw Duw

(The power and grace of God)

Love thee I will, O Lord God,
Since thou my whole firmness art;
  My firm Rock to hold me up,
  And the Defence of my weak soul.

My God, my Strength, and my dear Saviour,
My trust is in him alone;
  My good shield, and my Tower is he,
  And the Horn of my strong Salvation.

My prayer go to God unfailingly,
Who deserves all praise forever;
  Thus, from every kind of detestable enemy,
  My weak soul is to be kept by his grace.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
PSAL. XVIII.

1 No change of times shall ever shock
    my firm affection, Lord, to thee;
  For thou hast always been my rock,
    a fortress and defence to me.

2 Thou my deliv'rer art, my God,
    my trust is in thy mighty pow'r:
  Thou art my shield from foes abroad,
    at home my safeguard and my tow'r.

3 To thee will I address my pray'r,
    (to whom all praise we justly owe;)
  So shall I, by thy watchful care,
    be guarded from my treach'rous foe.
