Dy ras dy nawdd fy Nuw im' dod

Salm LVII.1,2,3,5. - Ymddiried yn Nuw
Dy ras, dy nawdd, fy Nuw,
    im' dod,
  Sef, ynot ymddiriedaf;
Nes myned heibio'r aflwydd hyn,
  Dan d'edyn ymgysgodaf.

Ymddiriad f'enaid ar Dduw sydd,
  Ar Dduw trwy ffydd y galwaf:
Ef a gyflawna'i air yn iawn,
  Can's cyfiawn yw'r Goruchaf.

O'r nef yr enfyn geidwad im'
  Rhag grym yr hwn
      a'm llyncai;
Enfyn fy Nuw ei nawdd,
    a'i hedd,
  A'i lān wirionedd didrai.

Ymddyrcha, Dduw y nef uwchlaw,
  Oddiyno daw d'arwyddion;
A bydded dy ogoniant ar
  Y ddaear a'i thrigolion.

Psalm 57:1,2,3,5. - Trust in God
Thy grace, thy protection, my God,
    comes to me,
  That is, in thee I will trust;
Until this misfortune passes,
  Under thy wings I will shelter.

My soul's trust is on God,
  On God through faith I will call:
He will fulfil his word in full,
  Since righteous is the Most High.

From heaven he will sent a saviour to me
  Against the force of him
      who would swallow me;
My God will send his protection,
    and his peace,
  And his unebbing, holy truth.

Be exalted, God of heaven above,
  Whence come the promises;
And may thy glory be over
  The earth and its inhabitants.
tr. 2012,15 Richard B Gillion
PSAL. LVII.
Thy mercy, Lord,
    to me extend,
  on thy protection I depend;
And to thy wing for shelter haste,
  till this outrageous storm is past.

To thy tribunal, Lord, I fly,
  thou sov'reign Judge and God most high,
Who wonders hast for me begun,
  and wilt not leave thy work undone.

From heav'n protect me by thine arm,
  and shame all those
      who seek my harm;
To my relief
    thy mercy send,
  and truth, on which my hopes depend.

Be thou, O God, exalted high;
  and, as thy glory fills the sky;
So let it be on earth displayed,:
  till thou art here, as there, obeyed.
