Dyma'r dydd y ganed Iesu

Dyma'r dydd y ganed Iesu,
  Dyma'r dydd i lawenhau;
Arglwydd nef a ddaeth i brynu
  Dynol-ryw, a'u llwyr ryddhau.

Gwelwyd Iesu mewn cadachau,
  Iddo preseb oedd yn grud,
Bu yn wan fel buom ninnau -
  Seiliwr nefoedd faith
      a'r byd.

Daeth o wlad y pur ogoniant,
  Daeth o wychder
      tŷ ei Dad,
Prynodd ef i bawb a'i carant
  Deyrnas nef yn rhodd, yn rhad.

Dyma gariad
    haedda'i gofio
  Mewn anfarwol gân ddi-lyth;
Yn y cariad hwn yn nofio
  Boed fy enaid innau byth.
Dyma gariad :: Dyma'r cariad

This is the day Jesus was born,
  This is the day to rejoice;
The Lord of heaven has come to purchase
  Humankind and their complete freedom.

Jesus was seen in swaddling cloths,
  A cradle to him was the manger,
He was weak as were we -
  The founder of the vast heavens
      and the world.

He came from the land of the pure glory,
  He came from the excellence
      of his Father's house,
He bought for all who love him
  The kingdom of heaven as a free gift.

Here is love
    that deserves to be remembered
  In a never-failing, immortal song;
Swimming in this love
  May my own soul be forever.
Here is love :: Here is the love
