Dyma'r fan dysgleiria cariad

(Cariad Duw)
Dyma'r fan dysgleiria cariad, -
   Nid yn nghariad dyn at Dduw
Ond yn nghariad annhraethadwy
  Crëwr byd at
      ddynolryw;
Cariad digyfnewid ydyw,
  Ffrwythau arno'n tyfu'n llawn;
Rhoddi'r Mab dros ein pechodau,
  Ar Galfaria'n berffaith Iawn.

O! ddyfnderoedd annhraethadwy,
  Hyd, a lled, ac uwchder maith,
Cariad dwyfol at droseddwr
  Gwael ei lun, a drwg ei waith;
Sain taranau mynydd Sinai
  Weithiodd yn fy enaid fraw;
Yn ei gariad fe'i gostegwyd,
  Gwela'r mellt yn cilio draw.

Tôn [8787D]: Benediction (Samuel Webbe 1740-1810)

Gwelir: Mawredd cariad Duw at ddynion

(The Love of God)
Here is the place love shines, -
  Not in the love of man towards God
But in the inexpressible love
  Of the creator of the world
      towards humankind;
An unchangeable love it it,
  Fruits upon it growing full;
Giving the Son for our sins,
  On Calvary as a perfect Satisfaction.

O the inexpressible depths,
  Length, breadth, and vast height,
Of divine love towards a transgressor
  Of poor condition, and evil work;
The sound of the thunders of mount Sinai
  Worked in our soul terror;
In his love he calmed it,
  See the lightning retreating yonder.
