Dyrchafa clodydd Mab y Dyn
  O'r ddaear hyd y nef;
Tradwyddol deilwng yw o'r gân -
 "Gogoniant iddo Ef!"

Mewn cân i wâg bleserau'r byd
  Dyrchafa rhai eu llef:
Ond am Waredwr canwn ni -
  "Gogoniant iddo Ef!"

A phan gyrhaeddwn ben ein taith,
  Ar fryniau gwyrddlas nef,
Mewn gwell cymanfa canu wnawn -
  "Gogoniant iddo Ef!"

Raise the praises of the Son of Man
  From the earth up to heaven;
Eternally worthy is he of the song -
  "Glory unto Him!"

In a song to the empty pleasures of the world
  Some will raise their cry:
But for a Deliverer let us sing -
  "Glory unto Him!"

And when we arrive at the end of our journey,
  On the green-blue hills of heaven,
In a better assembly let us sing -
  "Glory unto Him!"
