Ein hadfyd gwel, O! Arglwydd Dduw,
  Tosturia, nefol Dad:
Dywysog ein hieuenctid, clyw,
  Ac achub Di ein gwlad.

Rhag colli gras Sabothau'r nef,
  Rhag sathru deddfau'r Tad,
Gwna rymus waith mewn gwlad a thref
  Ac achub Di ein gwlad.

Sancteiddia'n henaid drwy bob cur,
  Tosturia, nefol Dad;
I fywyd glan, i grefydd bur,
  O! achub Di ein gwlad.

Our adversity see, O Lord God!
  Have mercy, heavenly Father:
Prince of our youth, hear,
  And save thou our land.

From losing heaven's Sabbath's grace,
  From trampling the laws of the Father,
Do a powerful work in country and town
  And save thou our land.

Sanctify our soul through every stroke,
  Have mercy, heavenly Father:
To a holy life, to a pure belief,
  O save thou our land!
