Enaid gwan, paham yr ofni?
  Cariad yw
  Meddwl Duw,
Cofia'i holl ddaioni.

Pam yr ofni'r cwmwl weithian?
  Mae efe
  Yn ei le
Yn rheoli'r cyfan.

Os yw'n gwisgo y blodeuyn
  Wywa'n llwyr
  Gyda'r hwyr,
Oni chofia'i blentyn?

Duw a wyr dy holl bryderon:
  Agos yw
  Dynol-ryw
Beunydd at ei galon.

Er dy fwyn ei Fab a roddodd:
  Cofia'r groes
  Ddyddiau d'oes:
"Canys felly carodd."

Bellach rho dy ofnau heibio;
  Cariad yw
  Meddwl Duw:
Llawenycha ynddo.

Weak soul, why fearest thou?
  It is love
  To think of God,
Remember all goodness.

Why fearest thou the cloud now?
  He is
  In his place
Ruling the whole.

If he clothes the flower
  That withers completely
  With the evening,
Will he not remember his child?

God knows all thy worries:
  Close is
  Human-kind
Daily to his heart.

For thy sake his Son he gave:
  Remember the cross
  The days of thy life:
"Since thus he loved."

Henceforth put thy fears aside;
  It is love
  To think of God,
Rejoice in him.
