Eistedd wna y mawr Jehofa
  Ar orseddfainc uchaf nef;
Ac addefa'r greadigaeth
  Ei lywodraeth eang Ef.

Dowch, angylion cedyrn, nerthol,
  Dowch, yng ngrym y dwyfol dân,
I glodfori y Goruchaf -
  Dowch yn gyntaf at y gân.

Deued nefoedd gyda'r ddaear,
  Deued pawb â llafar lef,
Ac mewn nefol hwyl dyrchafant,
  Foliant byth i Frenin nef.

Sit did the great Jehovah
  On the highest throne of heaven;
And the creation profess
  His widespread government.

Come, ye strong, powerful angels,
  Come, in the force of the divine fire,
To extol the Most Hight -
  Come ye first to the song.

Let heaven come with the earth,
  Let all come with a vocal cry,
And in heavenly mirth they shall exalt
  The praise forever of the King of heaven.
