Enw Iesu sydd yn werthfawr,
  Ynddo mae rhyw drysor im’;
Enw Iesu yw fy mywyd,
  Yn ei enw mae fy ngrym:
Yn ei enw mi anturiaf
  Trwy bob rhwystrau maith ymlaen;
Yn ei enw mae fy noddfa,
  Am ei enw bydd fy nghân.

The name of Jesus is precious,
  In it is some treasure for me;

  In him name is my force:
