Frenin mawr y greadigaeth

(Yn Nydd Cyfyngder)
Frenin mawr y greadigaeth,
  Gwrando'n cri o'r
      cystudd mawr;
Yng ngoleuni'th waredigaeth
  Disgyn i'r dywyllaf awr.
Gwagedd yw gogoniant dynion,
  Cwympo wna gorseddau'r byd;
Taena drosom nawdd y Goron
  Sydd yn dàl yr un o hyd.

Maddeu, Arglwydd, ein camweddau,
  Maddeu'n rhyfyg balch a ffôl;
Maddeu wyrni'n
    pell grwydriadau,
  Arwain ni i'th ffordd yn ol;
Plygwn i'th geryddon cyfiawn, -
  Mawr yw annheilyngdod dyn;
Ond mae'th gariad fyth yn gyflawn, -
  Cariad ydwyt Ti Dy hun.

Ymddisgleiria, Iesu hawddgar,
  O Dy orsedd wen i lawr;
Plyged holl benaethiaid daear
  Yn y llwch, i'r Brenin Mawr;
Rhwym gyfiawnder am genhedloedd,
  Yn Dy gariad gwna hwy'n un;
A daw'r ddaear fel y nefoedd
  Dan lywodraeth Mab y Dyn.

(In the Day of Distress)
Thou great King of creation,
  Listen to our cry from the
      great tribulation;
In the light of thy deliverance
  Descend to the darkest hour.
Emptiness is the glory of men,
  Fall shall the thrones of the world;
Spread over us the protection of the Crown
  That remains the same forever.

Forgive, Lord, our trespasses,
  Forgive our rash pride and foolishness;
Forgive the waywardness of
      our far wanderings,
  Lead us back to thy way;
Let us bow to thy righteous chastisement, -
  Great is the unworthiness of man;
But thy love is forever full, -
  Love art Thou Thyself.

Shine, thou beautiful Jesus,
  Down from thy white throne;
Let all headships of the earth bow
  In the dust, to the Great King;
Bind thou justice for nations,
  In thy love make them one;
And may the earth become like heaven
  Under the government of the Son of Man.
