Fy enaid paid ag ofni,
  Mi welaf gyrau'r wlad,
Fy etifeddiaeth werthfawr,
  Terfynau tŷ fy Nhad:
Caf yno wledda'n hyfryd
  Ar ffrwythau'r Ganaan bêr,
A llawenhau mewn gwynfyd
  Tragwyddol uwch y sêr.

Caf yno weled Iesu
  Fu farw yn fy lle,
I'm hachub rhag y fflamiau
  A'm dwyn i deyrnas ne';
Caf orphwys yn ei fynwes,
  Heb aflonyddwch mwy,
A chanu byth heb dewi
  Am ras ei farwol glwy'.

My soul do not fear,
  I see the corners of the land,
My precious inheritance,
  The borders of my Father's house:
There I shall get to feast delightfully
  On the fruits of the sweet Canaan,
And to rejoice in eternal
  Blessedness above the stars.

There I shall get to see Jesus
  Who died in my place,
To save me from the flames
  And to bring me to the kingdom of heaven;
I shall get to rest in his bosom,
  With no more restlessness,
And to sing forever without being silent
  About the grace of his mortal wound.
