Fy nghalon can a'm tafod bydd

(Salm XLV. 1—5. Am lwyddiant y Messiah.)
Fy nghalon can, a'm tafod bydd
Fel pin 'sgrifenydd buan;
  I foli Ceidwad dynol ryw,
  Enneiniog Duw ei hunan.

Na meibion dynion teccach wyd,
Tywalltwyd gras i'th enau;
  O herwydd Duw roes arnat wlith
  Ei fendith byth, a'i radau.

Dy gleddyf gwisg yng ngwasg dy glun,
O gadarn Gun gogonedd;
  Dos byth ym mlaen yn brydferth iawn,
  Mewn llwydd, a llawn orfoledd.

Yn gyflym iawn ar air y gwir
Dros fôr a thir marchoga;
  Nes gwneud holl anwar ddynol ryw
  Yn blant i Dduw Jehofa.

(Psalm 45:1-5. About the success of the Messiah.)
My heart, sing, and my tongue, be
Like the pen of a ready writer;
  To praise the Saviour of human kind,
  The anointed of God himself.

Than the sons of men more fair thou art,
Grace is poured out into thy mouth;
  Because God put upon thee the dew
  Of his blessing forever, and his favours.

Thy sword wear against thy thigh,
O firm Lord of glory;
  Go forever before very beautifully,
  In prosperity, and full of jubilation.

Very quickly on the word of the true
Over sea and land ride thou;
  Until making all the savage human kind
  Into children for God Jehovah.
tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion
(PSAL. XLV.)
1 While I the King's loud praise rehearse,
    indited by my heart,
  My tongue is like the pen of him
    that writes with ready art.

2 How matchless is thy form, O King!
    thy mouth with grace o'erflows;
  Because fresh blessings God on thee
    eternally bestows.

3 Gird on thy sword, most mighty prince;
    and, clad in rich array,
  With glorious ornaments of pow'r
    majestic pomp display.

4 Ride on in state, and still protect
    the meek, the just, and true;
  Whilst thy right hand with swift revenge
    does all thy foes pursue.
