Gwrando pan alwyf Arglwydd Ner

(Ymddried yn Nuw)
Gwrando, pan alwyf, Arglwydd Ner,
  Mewn cyfyngderau dwys;
Can's cadarn Graig i'th saint wyt Ti,
  I roddi arni'u pwys.

Dewised eraill fyw mewn bri,
  A chasglu cyfoeth mwy:
Mil gwell i mi
    yw'th nawdd a'th hedd,
  Nâ'u hŷd, a'u gwleddoedd hwy.

Mewn heddwch y gorweddaf lawr,
  Can's mawr yw'th ofal Di:
A chwaith nid ofnaf fraw na chlwyf,
  Tra cysgwyf yn fy nhŷ.

Gogoniant fyth a fo i'r Tad,
  I'r Mab a'r Ysbryd Glân;
Fel gynt y bu, y mae, a bydd
  Yn hanfod di-wahân.
Cas. o Psalmau a Hymnau (SPCK) 1861

[Mesur: MC 8686]

(Trust in God)
Listen, when I call, Sovereign Lord,
  In dire straits;
Since a firm Rock for thy saints art thou,
  To lean upon.

Let others live in renown,
  And gather greater wealth:
A thousand times better for me
    is thy protection and thy peace,
  Than their grain, and their feasts.

In peace I shall lie down,
  Since great is thy care:
And neither shall I fear terror nor wound,
  While I sleep in my house.

Glory forever be to the Father,
  To the Son and the Holy Spirit;
As it once was, is, and shall be
  In essence undivided.
