Gwasgared ffydd a gobaith gwiw
Ein holl amheuon o bob rhyw:
  Mae trosom gadarn Dduw dilyth,
  Pwy elyn a'n gorchfyga byth?

Yr hwn a roes ei Fab ei hun,
I farw trosom ni bob un,
  Ac oni ddyry Duw o'r nef
  Bob peth sydd reidiol gydag ef.

Let faith and worthy hope scatter
All our doubts of every kind:
  For us is the firm, unfailing God,
  What enemy shall ever overcome us?

He who gave his only Son,
To die for every one of us,
  Shall not the God from heaven give
  Every thing that is needful with him?
