Gwrandewir gweddi'r gwael

("Y mae i ni Eiriolwr")
  Gwrandewir gweddi'r gwael
    Sy'n griddfan ar y llawr,
  Mae Iesu'n eirio fry
    Gerbron yr orsedd fawr;
Derbynnir ein ŵylofus lef
Trwy rin ei waed,
      yng nghanol nef.

  Am hyny awn yn hy'
    At orsedd gras yn awr;
  Daw'n rhwydd fendithion rhad,
    Trwy rin y gwaed i lawr,
Daw nerth wrth raid i'r gwana'i gyd,
A choncwest ar holl ddrygau'r byd.

  Tyr'd Iesu, tyr'd yn awr,
    Dyhidla i lawr dy hedd;
  Rho i ni yn dy dŷ
    Feddianu nefol wledd;
Mae'th hyfryd hedd fyrddiynau'n well
Na holl drysorau'r India bell.

("We have an Intercessor")
  The prayer is heard of the poor
    Who are groaning down on earth,
  Jesus is interceding above
    Before the great throne;
Our mournful cry is received
Through the merit of his blood,
      in the centre of heaven.

  Therefore let us go boldly
    To the throne of grace now;
  Our free gracious blessings come
    Down through the merit of the blood,
Strength comes at need to all the weakest,
And conquest over all the world's evils.

  Come Jesus, come now,
    Distil down thy peace;
  Grant us in thy house
    To possess a heavenly feast;
Thy delightful peace is myriads better
Than all the treasures of distant India.
