SALM 46 - Duw yn blaid i'w bobl
Gobaith a nerth in' yw Duw hael,
  Mae nerth i'w gael mewn cyfwng:
Daear, mynydd, aent hwy i'r môr,
  Nid ofnaf f'angor deilwng.

Ped ymgymmysgai'r tir a'r dwfr,
  Nid ofnwn gynhwrf rhuad;
Ped ai'r mynyddoedd i'r môr mawr,
  A'r bryniau i lawr y gwastad.

Dinas ein Duw fydd lawen lon
  Gan loyw afon bywyd;
Yma y mae ei breswylfeydd,
  A'i deml lān rydd a hyfryd.

Y mae yr Arglwydd gyda ni,
  IOR anifeiri luoedd;
Y mae Duw Iago yn ein plaid,
  Gỳr help wrth raid o'r nefoedd.

Y wlad, O dowch i gyd yn rhwydd,
  A gwaith yr Arglwydd gwelwch,
Y modd y gosododd ef ar
  Y ddaear annyddanwch.

Gwna i ryfeloedd beidio'n wâr
  Hyd eitha'r ddaear lychlyd;
Dryllia y bwa, tŷr y ffòn,
  Llysg y cerbydon hefyd.

PSALM 46 - God on his people's side
Hope and strength to us is generous God,
  There is strength to be had in straits:
Earth, mountain, they are going to the sea,
  I will not fear my worthy anchor.

If the land and the water should be mixed,
  I would not fear the tumult of a roaring;
If the mountains went into the great sea,
  And the hills down to the plain.

The city of our God will be joyful, cheerful,
  With a shining river of life;
Here are his dwelling,
  And his holy temple free and delightful.

The Lord is with us,
  The Lord of innumerable hosts;
The God of Jacob is on our side,
  He will send help at need from the heavens.

O land, come all freely,
  And see the work of the Lord,
The way he placed on
  The earth unhappiness.

He makes wars cease obediently
  To the extremity of the dusty earth;
He shatters the bow, breaks the spear,
  He burns the chariots also.
A hope and a strength to us :: Our strength and our refuge
There is strength :: There is help
Earth, mountain, let them go :: Earth and mountain, let them go
::
