Gogoniant nef yw Crist ein Ior,
  Dysgleirdeb goruchafion;
Llewyrch gogoniant Duw ei hun,
  A chywir lun ei berson.

Gogoniant creadigaeth Duw,
  A'i rasol wiw ragluniaeth;
Gogoniant iachawdwriaeth faith,
  Gorchestwaith prynedigaeth.

Gogoniant y cyfammod gras,
  Ei fraint a'i urddas freiniol;
Ac mewn anrhydedd dyg wrth raid
  Y ddwyblaid ddig yn unol.

Gogoniant y gyfeillach lwys
  Trwy'r holl baradwys nefol;
Duw, saint, angylion, trwyddo sy
  Yn deulu cyd-drigianol.

Gogoniant a llawenydd maith
  Cerddoriaeth merched Seion:
Ei glod a seinir i barhau
  Gan seintiau ac angylion.

The glory of heaven is Christ our Lord,
  The radiance of the heights;
The shining of the glory of God himself,
  And the true image of his person.

The glory of God's creation,
  His his gracious, worthy providence;
The glory of vast salvation,
  The excellent work of redemption.

The glory of the covenant of grace,
  His privilege and his royal dignity;
And in honour he brings at need
  The two hostile parties together.

The glory of the pleasant friendship
  Throughout the whole heavenly paradise;
God, saints, angels, who are through him
  A co-habiting family.

The glory and vast joy
  Of the music of the daughter of Zion:
His praise is to be sounded enduringly
  By saints and angels.
