Gogoniant yn ddyledus yw

Gogoniant yn ddyledus yw,
Nid i nyni, sydd lwch, O Dduw!
  Ond i dy enw di dy hun,
  Dragwyddol ac anfeidrol un.

Y Duw a wasanaethwn sy
A'i orseddfainc uwch awyr fry;
  Trwy'r ddaiar gwneir ei 'wyllys Ef,
  Edwyn ein llais,
      a gwrendy'n llef.

O Israel! dysgwyl wrth dy Dduw,
Dy borth a'th amddiffynfa yw;
  Glŷn wrtho mewn crediniaeth gref,
  Tydi a'th blant a geidw Ef.

Glory is due,
Not to us, who are dust, O God!
  But to thy own name,
  Thou eternal and infinite one.

The God whom we serve has
His throne higher than the sky above;
  Through the earth His will is done,
  He knows our voice,
      and listens to our cry.

O Israel, wait for thy God!
Thy provision and thy defence he is;
  Stick to him in strong belief,
  Thee and thy children He shall keep.

Not to ourselves, who are but dust,
Not to ourselves is glory due,
  Eternal God, thou only just,
  Thou only gracious, wise, and true.

The God we serve maintains his throne
Above the clouds, beyond the skies;
  Through all the earth his will is done;
  He knows our groans,
      he hears our cries.

O Isr'el! make the Lord thy hope,
Thy help, thy refuge, and thy rest;
  The Lord shall build thy ruins up,
  And bless the people and the priest.
