Gweler/Gwelir Iesu'n ogoneddus

1,2,(3).
Gwelir Iesu'n ogoneddus,
  Yn ei ail Ddyfodiad glân;
Gwelir miloedd iddo'n plygu,
  Na phlygasant iddo o'r blaen;
    Gwelir hefyd
  Fyrdd yn dechrau llawenhau.

Gwelir cystudd, gwelir galar,
  Yn ffoi ymaith gyda brys:
Gwelir gwir orfoledd eilwaith,
  Wedi hyn yn llenwi'r llys:
    Yn y gwynfyd
  Bydd llawenydd pur a hedd.

Melys fydd y fwyn gyfeillach,
  Yn y pur ogoniant maith;
Melys fydd cydganu'r anthem,
  O'r un ysbryd a'r un iaith;
    Melys meddwl
  Na fydd rhaid ymado mwy.

Jesus is to be seen glorious,
  In his holy second Coming;
Thousands are to be seen bowing to him,
  Who had not bowed to him before;
    To be seen also is
  A myriad beginning to rejoice.

Tribulation is to be seen, mourning is to be seen,
  Fleeing away with hurry:
True jubilation is to be seen anew,
  After this filling the court:
    In the blessedness
  There shall be pure joy and peace.

Sweet shall be the tender fellowship,
  In the pure, extensive glory;
Sweet shall be singing together the anthem,
  From the one spirit and the one language;
    Sweet to think
  There shall be no need to depart any more.
