Hoff yw'r Iesu o blant bychain, Llawn o gariad ydyw Ef. Mae yn gwylio drostynt beunydd, Ar ei orsedd yn y Nef. Mae'n fy ngharu, wyf yn gwybod Mai ei eiddo byth wyf fi; Mae'n fy ngharu, diolch iddo! Prynodd fi ar Galfari. Os gofynnwch pam 'r wy'n hapus, Iesu sy'n ein caru ni Ac yn galw'n dirion arnom "Dewch, blant bychain, ataf fi." Felly deuthum at yr Iesu, Fel y gwna pob pentyn da, Gan weddïo am fy nghannu Yn a gwaed a'm llwyr lanha. Gwybod 'r wyf y gwrendy'r Iesu Weddi plant o Orsedd Nef. Deuwch, deuwch oll dan ganu Gyda'n gilydd ato Ef. (? cyf.) Daniel Thomas (Pabellwyson) 1842-1914

Fond is Jesus of little children, Full of love is He. He is watching over them daily, On his throne in Heaven. He is loving me, I am knowing That his own forever am I; He is loving me, thanks to him! He redeemed me on Calvary. If you ask why I am happy, Jesus is loving us And calling tenderly on us "Come, little children, to me!" Then let us come to Jesus, As does every good child, While praying for my bleaching In the blood for my complete cleansing. Knwoing I am that Jesus listens to The prayer of children from his Heavenly Throne. Come ye, come all while singing With each other unto Him. tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion |
