Hwn yw'r gwirionedd dwyfol

Hwn yw'r gwirionedd dwyfol,
  Effeithiol air y ffydd;
Mae ganddo ar gydwybod
  Awdurdod nos a dydd:
Athrawiaeth bur i'm dysgu
  I gredu'n ngwaed y groes,
A rheol i fucheddu,
  Ac wedi'n, farnu f'oes.

O fewn y gair myfyriaf,
  A chwiliaf ef o hyd,
Er mwyn adnabod 'wyllys
  Gwir barchus Brynwr byd;
Nes imi gael adnabod,
  A chanfod Duw'n fil gwell,
Yn nghartref tragwyddoldeb,
  Ardaloedd purdeb pell.

This is the divine truth,
  The effective word of faith;
It has over conscience
  Authority night and day:
Pure doctrine to teach me
  To believe in the blood of the cross,
And a rule to conduct oneself,
  And then, to judge my life.

In the word I will meditate,
  And search it continually,
In order to known the true,
  Worthy will of the Redeemer of the world;
Until I get to know,
  And find God a thousand times better,
In an eternal home,
  Distant regions of purity.
