  Yn dod i fyny o'i fedd yn fyw:
Dydd i'r ddaear i ddyrchafu
  Moliant ei Gwaredwr yw;
Nefol ddydd, sanctaidd ddydd, -
  Canaf am y nefol ddydd.

Dydd i nerthu pererinion
  Ar eu taith i'r nefoedd, yw;
Dydd a'i oriau yn fendithion,
  Dydd i'w dreulio gyda Duw;
Nefol ddydd, sanctaidd ddydd, -
  Canaf am y nefol ddydd.

Dydd a bery yn dragywydd,
  Wedi dyddiau'r ddaear, yw;
Dydd i ganu'r gân na dderfydd
  Yn y nefoedd gyda Duw;
Nefol ddydd, sanctaidd ddydd, -
  Canaf am y nefol ddydd.

This is the day to remember Jesus
  Coming up from the grave alive:
A day for the earth to raise
  Praise of its Deliverer it is;
A heavenly day, a holy day, -
  I will sing about the heavenly day.

A day to strengthen pilgrims
  On their journey to the heavens, it is;
A day and its hours blessings,
  A day day to be spent with God;
A heavenly day, a holy day, -
  I will sing about the heavenly day.

A day which will endure in eternity,
  After the days of the earth, it is;
A day to sing the song that will not perish
  In the heavens with God;
A heavenly day, a holy day, -
  I will sing about the heavenly day.
