Hyd yma darfu Duw ein dwyn

1,2,3,(4).
(Ystyriaeth yn Niwedd Blwyddyn)
Hyd yma darfu Duw ein dwyn,
Bendigaid fyddo'i enw mwyn;
  'R un yw ei allu ar bob pryd,
  A'i gariad sydd yr un o hyd.

Arwyddion tyner iawn y sydd
O'i ofal tadol Ef bob dydd;
  Trwy'r flwyddyn
      rhydd y rhai'n heb ri',
  O'i dechreu hyd ei diwedd hi.

Trwy holl beryglon bywyd brau
Ei gadarn law a'n cadwai'n glau;
  Ni phalla nodded
      Brenin nef:
  Rhown iddo fawl âg uchel lef.

Ar fin y ddofn Iorddonen ddu,
Ein calon a gyfoda'n hy;
  Gwir foliant gaiff
      ddiweddi'n taith;
  Molwn i dragwyddoldeb maith.
ein dwyn :: fy nwyn
a'n cadai :: a'm cadwai
Rhown iddo :: Rho'f iddo

Tôn [MH 8888]: Duke Street (John Hatton 1710-93)

(Consideration at the End of a Year)
Thus far it happened that God led us,
Blessed be his dear name;
  The same is his power on every occasion,
  And his love is the same always.

There are very tender signs
Of His fatherly care every day;
  Throughout the year
      he gave those without number,
  From its start along to its end.

Through all the perils of fragile life
His firm hand would keep us secure;
  The protection of the King of heaven
      shall not fail:
  Let us give him praise with a loud cry.

On the edge of the deep, black Jordan,
Our heart shall raise boldly;
  True praise shall get
      the ending of our journey;
  Let us praise for a vast eternity.
led us :: led me
would keep us :: would keep me
Let us give him :: I will give him
