I Dad y trugareddau

(Cynhaeaf)
I Dad y trugareddau
  Rhown foliant oll ynghyd,
Am amryw ffrwythau'r ddaear
  A roddwyd in mewn pryd;
Diolchwn o'n calonnau
  Am iddo'n cofio'n awr,
A gwylio'n rhagluniaethol
  Amdanom, lwch y llawr.

Tydi, O! Dduw, sy'n porthi
  Y creaduriaid oll,
Ac wrthyt maent yn disgwyl
  Eu lluniaeth yn ddi-goll;
Addefwn oll dy gariad
  A'th ofal dros y byd,
Rhown fawl i'r Hwn a'n prynodd
  Â'i waed a'i angau drud.

O! nertha ni i rodio
  Yn deilwng, Arglwydd Dduw,
O'th ras a'th drugareddau,
  Tra byddom yma'n byw;
A phan fôm yn ymado,
  'R ôl cyrraedd pen ein taith,
O! gad i ni dy foli
  Yn nhragwyddoldeb maith.

(Harvest)
To the Father of the mercies
  Let us all give praise together,
For the various fruits of the earth
  Given to us in their season;
Let us give thanks from our hearts
  For his remembering of us now,
And watching providentially
  Over us, the dust the ground.

Thou, O God, are feeding
  All the creatures,
And from thee they are expecting
  Their sustenance unfailingly;
We all profess thy love
  And thy care for the world,
Let us give praise to Him who bought us
  With his blood and his costly death.

O! strengthen us to walk
  Worthily, Lord God,
By thy grace and thy mercies,
  While ever we are here living;
And when we be departing,
  After reaching our journey's end,
O let us praise thee
  In a vast eternity.
