Iesu'm Bugail Da, O gwrando,
  Weddi plentyn bach yn awr;
Bydd yn agos ataf heno,
  Drwy y nos, nes torro'r wawr.

Drwy y dydd, Ti a'm harweiniaist -
  Diolch am Dy ofal mwyn;
Dillad, bwyd, a nawdd a roddaist -
  Gwrando un o'th anwyl ŵyn!

Maddeu im' holl feiau mywyd,
  Cofia'r ffryndiau garaf fi:
Pan bwyf farw, fry i'r gwynfyd
  Dwg fi adref atat Ti.

Jesus my Good Shepherd, O hear,
  The prayer of a little child now;
Be near to me tonight,
  Through the night, until the dawn breaks.

Through the day, Thou didst lead me -
  Thankyou for Thy tender care;
Clothes, food and shelter thou gavest -
  Hear one of thy dear lambs!

Forgive me all the faults of my life,
  Remember the friends I love:
When I die, up to paradise
  Lead me home to Thee.

Jesus, tender Shepherd, hear me;
  Bless Thy little lamb tonight;
Through the darkness be Thou near me;
  Watch my sleep till morning light.

All this day Thy hand has led me,
  And I thank Thee for Thy care;
Thou hast clothed me, warmed and fed me,
  Listen to my evening prayer.

Let my sins be all forgiven;
  Bless the friends I love so well;
Take me, when I die, to Heaven,
  Happy there with Thee to dwell.
