Iesu addfwyn tyner,
  Mab yr uchel Dduw,
Geidwad mwyn tosturiol,
  Llef dy blant, O! clyw.

Maddau ein camweddau,
  Rho ein rhwymau'n rhydd;
Bwrw i lawr bob eilun
  Yn ein rhwystro sydd.

Dyro ryddid sanctaidd,
  Rho dy gariad cu;
Tyn ni, annwyl Iesu,
  I'r ardaloedd fry.

Ar ein taith, dy Hunan
  Inni'n ffordd, O! bydd,
Drwy yr hirnos dywyll
  I dragwyddol ddydd.

Gentle, tender Jesus,
  Son of the high God,
Meek, merciful Saviour,
  Thy children's cry Oh hear!

Forgive our faults,
  Set our bonds free;
Cast down every idol
  Which does impede us.

Grant a holy freedom,
  Impart thy dear love;
Draw us, dear Jesus,
  To the regions above.

On our journey, Thyself
  To us as a road, Oh be!
Through the long, dark night
  To an eternal day.

Jesus, meek and gentle,
  Son of God most high,
Gracious, loving Saviour,
  Hear Thy children’s cry.

Pardon our offenses,
  Loose our captive chains,
Break down every idol
  Which our soul detains.

Give us holy freedom,
  Fill our hearts with love;
Draw us, holy Jesus,
  To the realms above.

Lead us on our journey,
Be Thyself the way
Through our earthly darkness
 To the heavenly day.
