Iesu mwyn a thyner,
  Frenin mawr y nef,
O! Iachawdwr parod,
  Gwrando ar ein llef.

Maddau ein pechodau,
  Tor bob cadwyn sy
'N rhwystro inni gerdded
  Yn dy lwybrau Di.

Gwna ni oll yn rhyddion
  Trwy dy gariad cu;
Dwg ni, sanctaidd Iesu,
  I'th drigfannau fry.

Bydd i ni'n Arweinydd
  I'r goleuni pur;
Trwy dywyllwch daear,
  Ti yw'r Ffordd yn wir.

Forgive our sins,

Preventing our walking

  To thy dwellings above.

Be to us a Leader
  To the pure light;
Through the darkness of earth,
  Thou art truly the Way.

  Son of God most high,
Gracious, loving Saviour,
  Hear Thy children’s cry.

Pardon our offences,
  Loose our captive chains,
Break down every idol
  Which our soul detains.

Give us holy freedom,
  Fill our hearts with love;
Draw us, holy Jesus,
  To the realms above.

Lead us on our journey,
Be Thyself the way
Through our earthly darkness
 To the heavenly day.
