Jehofa Iôr a fforddia'n rhad

(Salm xxxvii. 23,24,27,28.
Ni edy Duw ei saint)
Jehofa Iôr a fforddia'n rhad
  Gerddediad pob gwr da;
Hoff ganddo'i ffordd, i'r lan fe'i dal,
  I'w gynnal fe barhâ.

Er iddo weithiau gwympo'n gas,
  Fel un di-ras, i lawr;
I'r lan fe gwyd trwy gymmorth Duw,
  Ni syrth i'r
      distryw mawr.

Gâd di y drwg, medd Duw, a gwna
  Yr hyn sy dda îs nen;
A thrigo gei'n drag'wyddol fry,
  Sef yn fy nhŷ uwch ben.

Ei saint ni edy Duw dilŷth,
  Fe'u ceidw fyth yn fyw;
Ond pechaduriaid drwg y tir
  A dorrir 'lawr gan Dduw.

(Psalm 37:23-4, 27-8.
God will not leave his saints)
'Tis the Lord Jehovah who graciously orders
  The walk of every good man;
He delights in his way, he will uphold him,
  To support him he will continue.

Although sometimes he may fall badly,
  Down, like one without grace;
Up he will rise through the help of God,
  He shall not fall to the
      great destruction.

Leave thou the evil, says God, and do
  That which is good under heaven;
And thou shalt dwell eternally above,
  That is in my house overhead.

His saints God shall not leave, for sure,
  He shall keep them forever alive;
But the evil sinners of the land
  Shall be broken down by God.
