I fynu attat Arglwydd da

(Salm XXV. 1-5 - Erfyn cymmorth ac addysg gan Dduw)
I fynu attat, Arglwydd da,
  Fy enaid a ddyrchafaf;
Na'm gwaradwydder gan fy nghas,
  Can's yn dy ras gobeithiaf.

Na waradwydder neb ag sydd
  Yn disgwyl, Arglwydd, wrthyt;
Y sawl heb achos wnant ar fai
  Fo'r rhai w'radwydder gennyt.

Gwybodaeth im' o'th ffyrdd rho di,
  A phâr i mi eu deall;
Dysg fi, a thywys hyd y bedd
  Yn dy wirionedd diball.

Can's ti yn unig, Arglwydd, yw
  Mawr Dduw fy iechydwriaeth;
Disgwyliaf wrthyt 'rhyd y dydd,
  Mewn ffydd, am fendith helaeth.

(Psalm 25:1-5 - Petition for help and teaching by God)
Up to thee, good Lord,
  My soul I will raise;
Let me not be shamed by my enemy,
  Since in thy grace I hope!

Not to be shamed is anyone who is
  Waiting, Lord, on thee;
Those who without cause do wrong
  May they be shamed by thee!

Knowledge of thy ways give thou to me
  And cause me to understand them!
Teach me, and lead as far as the grave
  In thy unfailing truth!

Since thou alone, O Lord, art
  The great God of my salvation;
I will wait upon thee all day long,
  In faith, for a bountiful blessing.
