I'r Arglwydd cenwch lawen Gān

Sing to the Lord with joyful voice

(Mawl y Crewr)
I'r Arglwydd cenwch lawen gān,
Pob gwlad rhoed fawl
    i'w enw glān,
  Danfoned Prydain yn ddifraw,
  Yr adsain dros y moroedd draw.

Gwas'naethed pobloedd ger ei fron
Mewn ofn a llawenydd llon,
  Gwybydded pawb mai fe sydd Dduw,
  Mai fe all ladd a gwneyd yn fyw.

Ei allu gyrhaedd dros y byd,
Tragwyddol yw ei gariad drud,
  A saif ei wir
      byth heb ysgoi,
  Pan beidio haul a lleuad droi.

I'r Arglwydd cenwch lawen gān,
Pob gwlad, rho'wch fawl
    i'w enw glān,
  Danfoned Brydain, yn ddi-fraw,
  Yr adsain dros y moroedd draw.

Gwas'naethwch, bobloedd, ger ei fron,
Mewn ofn a gwir llawenydd llon,
  Gwybyddwch mai'r Arglwydd sydd Dduw,
  Efe 'all ladd a gwneud yn fyw.

A'i dirfawr nerth,
    heb gymmorth dŷn,
O'r pridd 'fe'n lluniodd bob yr un:
  A phan eym 'ffwrdd
      fel defaid ffol,
  I'w gorlan ef' a'n dug yn ol.

I'th byrth a diolch gān
    ni ddawn,
Cyfodi'n llef i'r nef y wnawn:
  Doed pobloedd,
      o bob iaith sy'n bod,
  I lenwi'th dai
      ā'u llafar glod.

D'arglwyddiaeth di sydd dros y byd;
Trag'wyddol yw dy gariad drud:
  Saif dy wirionedd
      byth heb 'sgoi,
  Pan beidio'r haul
      a'r lleuad droi.

Gwelir: Wrth orsedd y Jehofa mawr

(Praise of the Creator)
To the Lord sing ye a joyful song,
Let every land give praise
    to his holy name,
  Let Britain send fearlessly,
  The echo across yonder seas.

Let peoples serve before him
In fear and cheerful joy,
  Let everyone know that he is God,
  That he can kill and make alive.

His power will reach across the world,
Eternal is his precious love,
  And his truth shall stand
      forever without avoidance,
  When sun and moon stop turning.

To the Lord sing ye a joyful song,
Every land, give ye praise
    to his holy name,
  Let Britian send, fearlessly,
  The echo across yonder seas.

Serve ye, peoples, before him,
In fear and true, cheerful joy,
  Know ye that the Lord is God,
  He can kill and make alive.

With his enormous strength,
    without man's help,
From the flock he is feeding each one:
  And when we go away
      like foolish sheep,
  To his fold he will bring us back.

To thy portals with a thankful song
    we will come,
Raise our cry to heaven we will do:
  Let peoples come,
      from every language there is,
  To fill thy houses
      with their vocal acclaim.

Thy sovereignty is across the world;
Eternal is thy precious love:
  Thy truth shall stand
      forever without avoidance,
  When the sun and the moon
      shall stop turning.
tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion

Sing to the Lord with joyful voice,
  Let every land
      His name adore;
Let every isle send forth the noise
  Across the ocean to the shore.

Let nations stand before His throne
  With solemn fear, with sacred joy;
Know that the Lord is God alone;
  He can create and He destroy.

Wide as the world is Thy command,
  Vast as eternity Thy love;
Firm as a rock
    Thy truth must stand,
  When rolling years shall cease to move.

Sing to the Lord with joyful voice,

Let every isle send forth the noise
  Across the ocean to the shore.

Let nations stand before His throne
  With solemn fear, with sacred joy;
Know that the Lord is God alone;
  He can create and He destroy.

His sovereign power,
    without our aid,
  Made us of clay, and formed us men;
And when like wandering sheep
    we strayed,
  He brought us to His fold again.

We'll crowd Thy gates
    with thankful songs,
  High as the heavens our voices raise;
And earth,
    with her ten thousand tongues,
  Shall fill Thy courts
    with sounding praise.

Wide as the world is Thy command,
  Vast as eternity Thy love;
Firm as a rock
    Thy truth must stand,
  When rolling years shall cease
      to move.
